Kurashiki’s favorable location offers a bounty of fresh, high-quality ingredients—from seafood and mountain harvests, to locally raised beef. This close proximity to the blessings of land, mountain and sea enriches the region’s food culture and allows us to celebrate its diversity in every dish.

To bring out the true flavors of these seasonal ingredients, YORUYA prepares its own original seasonings. From soy sauce and dashi, adjusted seasonally, to staples such as salt, vinegar, and ponzu, all of our basic seasonings are handmade to ensure the highest quality.
